Just wanted to let you know that we are happy and settled into our new home in Larkspur, CA.
After looking at lots of houses, we found the perfect one for everyone in a great neighborhood and school district. We are looking forward to visitors if you happen to come to Northern California. Just let us know.
October is a busy month in Savannah--lots of festivals and dress up opportunities. Roxy and Tyler went to Pirates Fest in Tybee Island and are getting ready for Halloween. They also had their first school photos taken and got their first haircuts!
We’ve been having a great summer with lots of fun trips.
Its great to spend time with all our family and friends up and down the east coast. The babies are great travelers and so is Lulu. Home is wherever we are all together.
Roxy and Tyler turned 2 on May 5--Cinco de Mayo!
They were very excited to have a party with a clown and all their friends. Everyone had fun getting their face painted, getting animal balloons and doing the hokey pokey. Then we had pizza and sang Happy Birthday with a very special farm animal cake.
Roxy and Tyler are almost 2! Its hard to believe that time has passed so quickly--they are no longer babies in most ways.
But they are very loveable, huggable and are talking a mile a minute.
Next--on to potty training :)
The babies can now walk to the duck pond in our neighborhood.
Yesterday they were both throwing bread to feed the ducks when Tyler threw too hard and wound up in the pond! Luckily--its not too cold here and he was more surprised than anything--
we can now tease him about liking ducks so much that he wants join them.
We have been having a wonderful holiday break!. We’ve done alot of traveling up and down the east coast, to Maryland for Thanksgiving, to New Jersey to see Grandma Jeni and down to Florida for Hannukkah with Grandma Ruthie and Grandpa Al.
Then Uncle Greg and Uncle Mitch came to spend Christmas wih us in Savannah.
I’ve added lots of photos so you can share alot of fun moments from the last month.
Roxy and Tyler celebrated their second Halloween in style!
They visited a few houses ( as Barney and Baby Bop) but had the best time sitting on the porch with their mommies (both cats) and Lulu (a bumblebee) playing with the candy and handing it out to the all the kids that came by.
Roxy''s first words: ByeBye, Moma, Hi, Cat, Hat, Up, Teeth, Peas, Carrots and EiEiEo (the chorus of Old McDonald)
Tyler''s first words: Duck, Quack, Moma, Birds, Car, Cat and his favorite BAAAAA! as in what does a sheep say.
Roxy and Tyler celebrated their 1st Birthday with their mommies and Grandma Ruthie, Grandpa Al and big sister Lulu on May 5th.
The babies are now toddlers! There were lots of presents, balloons and some very messy birthday cake eating!
We''ve changed coasts! As of early Feb, we are now residents of Savannah, Georgia! Everyone is adjusting fine to our new home and location--we''ve checked out the beach nearby (its really nice!) We look forward to visits with all our east coast friends and family soon.
Today was a big day for Roxy and Tyler.
Roxy has cut her first tooth! Its a bottom tooth in the front.
And Tyler has a tooth ready to pop on the top front. They say enough of this milk stuff mom, we''re ready for cheeseburgers!
Lulu comes home. Lulu assumes her new position of Vice President Sr Exec Super Nanny. She falls in love with the new members of her herd and vows to serve and protect. Her tail wags for every gurgle and wimper and she checks the windows and doors for every cry.
First Doctor visit - they did great! The Doctor said they were 100% perfect. It was the first time we took them out of the house since they came home...in and out of the carseats...up the elevator and into the office. What a production!
Roxy and Tyler want to send their love and a special Mothers Day kiss to their Grandma Ruth and Jen, Grand Aunties Dorathy, Florie, Zoe, Marion and Lilian, and their Aunties Pam, Laura, Mary, Emma, Linda, Liza, Lulu, Cheri, Lisa, Elyse, Roe, Chris, Carol and Patsy and all their new cousins and best friends!
